He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Schneider and Irene Schneider (Rubenzer); his wife Dorothy Schneider; his stepmother Doris Schneider; his brother Donald Schneider; his sister-in-law Joanie Schneider; his son-in-law Layne Glassbrenner; and his stepsiblings, Helen Rineck and David Pressler (Shirley).
He is survived by: his children, Irene Glassbrenner of Chippewa Falls and Peter Schneider (Cheryl) of Wausau; his grandchildren, Paul Schneider (Alicia), Alicia Schneider (Steven Gunderson), Samuel Schneider (Kim), Philip Xanatos (Becky) and Leah Schneider; his great grandchildren, Madison S., Wren S., Bennett S., Bennett G. and Ivy S.; and his pets, Osiris and Pandora. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Charles Catholic Church or the Veteran's Home in Chippewa Falls.
