He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Schneider and Irene Schneider (Rubenzer); his wife Dorothy Schneider; his stepmother Doris Schneider; his brother Donald Schneider; his sister-in-law Joanie Schneider; his son-in-law Layne Glassbrenner; and his stepsiblings, Helen Rineck and David Pressler (Shirley).
He is survived by: his children, Irene Glassbrenner of Chippewa Falls and Peter Schneider (Cheryl) of Wausau; his grandchildren, Paul Schneider (Alicia), Alicia Schneider (Steven Gunderson), Samuel Schneider (Kim), Philip Xanatos (Becky) and Leah Schneider; his great grandchildren, Madison S., Wren S., Bennett S., Bennett G. and Ivy S.; and his pets, Osiris and Pandora. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (810 Pearl St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Charles Catholic Church or the Veteran's Home in Chippewa Falls.
