She was predeceased by : her mother Eileen Reed (Swoboda); her husband Dan; her sister Jean; and her nephew Dawson Reed. She is survived by : her father Dayton Reed; her siblings, Carol Bowe (Craig) of Chippewa Falls and Daniel Reed (Kathy) of Lake Elmo, MN; her brother-in-law Clyde "Shorty" Bowe of Chippewa Falls; her nieces, Amanda Goettl (Matt), Alesia Vavra (Eric), Ashley Kisner (Tyler), Bridget White (Alex), Kati Mullenburg (Tom Pevan) and Myranda Reed; her nephew Alex Bowe (Rachel); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Myles, Marcus, Margaret Goettl, Kendra, Nolan, Colton, Reece, Brooklyn Vavra, Avery, Haven, Henley, Liv Bowe, Bre Rasmus, Lincoln, Brody Kisner, Britynn, Lahni, Kobe White and Owen Mullenburg-Pevan.

Sue Troester wrote a sympathy message

“I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Sue at Riverside for many years and considered her a friend.. The care she provided the residents, and the help she gave to her coworkers came directly from her heart. Sue and Dan also were there for my husband and I when we needed it. I am imagining her reunion with Dan, the love of her life. I know she felt him watching over her after he passed. Unfortunately, I'm unable to attend the services, but I will treasure my memories of her love and laughter.”
