It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Carlson of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David M. Hyler and Lois Hyler (Patterson); her brother Robert Hyler; her daughter Lisa Carlson; her in-laws, Lloyd and Ruth Carlson; and her siblings-in-law, Jerome and Arlene Rankl.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Carole Herman; her husband Lyle Carlson; her sister Olivia Shealy (Wayne); her siblings-in-law, Judy Hyler and Joe Herman; her daughters, Glenda Carlson (Scott) and Penny Carlson; and her granddaughters, Veronica Kasper (Dan), Samantha Andrade (Julio) and Sabrina Cooper (Neil). She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
The family requests no flowers, but donations can be made to Plymouth United Church of Christ's project fund in her honor.
