He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Smith and Bernice Smith of Minneapolis; and his siblings, Ora Titus and Helen McKenna. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Matthew and Jenny; his daughter-in-law Janelle; his sister Judy; his grandchildren, Jack, Vaughn Holzersmith, Ava Eastman, Heather Holzersmith, Noelle Eastman and Isabelle Eastman; his sisters-in-law, Kathy Bruner Letson, Rosie Stener, Suzy Lindholm, Jeannie Bruner and Sheri Rasmussen; Janet Smith.
