He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Spurlock and Dolis Spurlock (Guthrie); his parents-in-law, Byron Sr. and Lyla Miller; his siblings, Vicki, Jeanette, Annedale, Betty, Carrie, Lawrence Ray, Clarence, Howard and Edward; and his sister-in-law Sheri Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Spurlock; his children, Stacy Spurlock (Courtney Bowers), Dual Spurlock Jr. (Dan Stormoen) and Joey Spurlock (Taylor); his grandchildren, Jennifer Ruff, Lyla Spurlock and Leney Spurlock; his siblings, Art Spurlock (Barb) and Mary Alice Bowlby (Gerry); and his siblings-in-law, Kathie Wirth (Terry) and Byron Miller (Luzita). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
