He was predeceased by: his niece Khyla Gates; and his grandparents, Ray and Myra Fluhrer. He is survived by: his parents, Tony Gates and Kristina Gates (Fluhrer) of Jerseyville; his stepmother LeAnn Gates of Cottage Grove, Minnesota; his siblings, Christopher Gates of Jerseyville, Jessica Gates of Jerseyville and Myranda Gates of Cottage Grove, Minnesota; his stepsiblings, Kayla Burnett, Katie Silverness and Kameron Silverness; and his grandmother Corrine Gates of Amery, Wisconsin. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
