He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Brost and Evelyn Brost (Lutze); his brother Allen Brost; his parents-in-law, Harold and Tina Staudinger; and his brothers-in-law, Tim Staudinger, Gino Panosh and Edward Kleckner.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Brost; his son Kevin Brost (Kathy) of Irma, WI; his grandsons, Ryan J. Brost (Audry) of Jefferson, WI and Dane P. Brost; his siblings, Marlene Kleckner and Jeff Brost; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Staudinger (Grace Horn) and Bonnie Panosh. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (8100 Brunner Rd, Newton, WI 53063). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Community Church (8100 Brunner Rd, Newton, WI 53063). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:30 PM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (8100 Brunner Rd, Newton, WI 53063).
