She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Johansen (Richard) and Kris Thompson M. D. (Steven); her grandchildren, Erika James (John), Christian Johansen (Breanna) and Christopher Thompson; her great grandchildren, Grayson Johansen, Sylvia Johansen, Justin Johansen, Ava Schoonover and Tegan Johansen; her nieces, Marilyn Peterson (Dale) and Maureen Shull; and her nephew Ronald Higgins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Prairie Lutheran Church (23184 Bergen Rd, Poplar Grove, IL 61065). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
