He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Kari Crosby) and Matthew Vander Kooi (Melissa Edwards); his grandchildren, Justin, Sarah (Eian O' Connor), David and Olivia Vander Kooi; his siblings, Janet, Karen Lowery (Bob), Pamela Green (Darrell), Doris, Betsy Foley (Daryl), Loren Vander Kooi (Sharon), Larry Vander Kooi (Jeanie) and Terry Vander Kooi (Sarah); and his aunt Silvia Ronburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
