She is survived by: her children, Matthew Shepherd (Brianna) and Marissa Powell (Nicholas Merritt); her close friend Philip Junkins; and her sisters, Annette Benard (Kevin), Sherry Wilson and Fran Shaw. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
