She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Moravec and Ruth (Cecil Robinson); her former husband Salvatore Valenti; and her siblings, Barbara Wearing and Donald Moravec.

She is survived by: her nephew Tommy; her husband Dennis Kiermas; her children, John Carnell (Janet), Jason Carnell (Linda), Mary Valenti-Walby (Zak), Judi, Jeff Pflughoeft and Tom Wearing (Holly Beringer); her grandchildren, Christopher, Agatha, Jack, Kina, Lexi, Nate, Scarlett, Robin, Andrea, Danny, Ryan and Jaxon; her brother Thomas Moravec; and her pets, Butch and Tank.
