He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Beery and Mary Beery (Biebelhausen); his wife Elaine Walters; and his siblings, Gladys Shulse (Irni), Pearl Zaddock (Leonard), Milly Beery, Evlyn Yaeger (Lealand), Elaine Hien (Bob), Arlyn Jump (Scott) and Elmer Beery (Alice).
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ruh (Darrell), Bonnie Ferg (Dave) and Cindy Walotka (Warren); and his grandchildren, Kelly Ruh (Jason), Donny Ruh (Tammy), Corey Ferg and Shannon Ferg (Emily). He is also survived by Seven great-grandchildren.
