He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Gross and Frances Gross (Eggert); and his sisters, Elfreida Gollnow (Lyle) and Freida Laude (Fred). He is survived by : his wife LaVonne Kuhn of John's Lutheran Church; his son Robert "Bob" Gross (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Matthew and Peyton. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christus Lutheran Church (120 N Main St, Clintonville, WI 54929). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
