He was predeceased by: his parents, Edval Erickson and Marion Erickson (Wicker); his son Joel Dean; his great grandchild Corbin James Miller; his siblings, Lawrence, Roger and Marion Kreitzman; and his brothers-in-law, Dean and Lyle Elske (Louise).
He is survived by: his wife Judith Elske; his children, Joyce, JoAnn Olson (Eddie), Julie Rennhack, Jill Christian-Engels (Tim), James (Ann) and Maria; his siblings, Idella and Phillip (Donna); and his sister-in-law Sharon Elske. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Memorials can be made in Jim's name to Rainbow Hospice.
