Alice Rose Cook Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2023, at the age of 97, Alice Rose Cook in Colby, Wisconsin, born in Stratford, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Bohman and Rosa Bohman (Pfeffer); her husbands, Brice Bender and Rod Cook; her brothers, Alfred, Tony, Joseph, Louis, Felix and Harvey Bohman; and her stepson Ronald Cook.

She is survived by : her children, Diane Bauer (Steve), Duane Bender (Carol), Daniel Bender (Deborah) and Dean Bender (Sue); her grandchildren, Chad Bender (Erin), Angela Bruesewitz (Keith), Kurt Bender (Julie), Brian Bauer (Ivy), Heartland, Ashley Bender (Jeremy), Devin Bender (Brianna), Brentin Bender (Taylor), Cara Bender (Dylan), Owen and Erin Bender; and her stepsons, David Cook (Virginia) of Evansville, IN, Michael Cook (Juanamaria) of Columbia, MO, Gary Cook (Monica) of Statesville, NC and Kevin Cook (Pamela) of Whitehouse Station, NJ. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

“We are happy for Alice she is with the lord. We are sad to hear about her I went to see her when I was there to see ma. She will be missed. But she is in a better place, I will miss seeing that big smile, God be with you and family. We did not know about it until Larry stop...our we would have been there for yours.
