He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Dirks and Leila Dirks (Richter); his siblings, Diane Blume and Ronald Dirks; and his nephew Jeremy Sonntag.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ken Dirks (Jean) of Tomahawk, Justine Stolze (Robert) of Ringle, Nancy Loker (Mark) of Oshkosh and Annette Krautkramer (Patrick) of Marathon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
