It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Lane Schmitt of Colby, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvan Schreiner and Mable Schreiner (Kennedy); her husband Mark Schmitt (Sparky); her daughters, Gwen Schmitt and Gail Meyer; her sons-in-law, Conrad Aichele and Douglas Hastie; and her brothers, Bill Schreiner, Tib Schreiner (Connie) and Johnny Schreiner.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey (Linda) of Greenwood, James of Colby, Kimberly Hull (Gene) of Joliet, MT, Laurie Aichele (Charlie Kuehn) of Fall Creek and Pam Reynolds of Colby, One; her son-in-law Dean Meyer; her siblings, Nola Rasmussen (Bob) of Graham, WA and Michael Schreiner (Judy) of Kent, WA; her siblings-in-law, Germaine Redmann of Athens, Joan Schmitt of Wausau and Tim Schmitt (Suzie) of Blenker; and her in-laws, Rita Peterson (Lawrence), Maude Kocian (Elmer), Carmen Fosdick (Lee), Naomi Kruse (Harry), Mercedes Lang (Leo), Blanch Zera (Angelo), Roman Schmitt, Emery Schmitt (Rita), Mary Ann Scanlon (Ted), Verjean Kunze (Lawrence), Linus Schmitt, Pamela Schmitt and Fritz Redmann. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
