He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Peterson and Muriel Peterson (Camps); his son Garrett; and his brothers, Melvin and Kevin.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Williamson; his daughter Courtney Peterson; his daughter-in-law Jamie Peterson; his grandchildren, Griffin and Hazel; and his brother Randy Peterson (Lilo).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, one of Doug's favorite causes and one that epitomizes his love for children.
