He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Karban; his brother Mark Karban; and his father-in-law Tony Charapata (Annabelle). He is survived by: his mother Myrtle Karban (Wistein); his wife Bonnie Charapata; his children, Tammy Hanrahan (Jason), Tina Stegman (Matt) and Corey Karban (Joelle); his grandchildren, Bryce Karban (Heidea), Spencer Karban, Brynn Karban (Alex Sharkey), Bre Hanrahan (Karson Casper), Kaily Hanrahan, Lily and Maya Stegman; his siblings, Jim Karban (Mary), Tom Karban (Martha), Bill Karban, Toby Karban (Lori), Mary Peterson (Leonard), Jane Petchak and Patty Harris (Scott); and his sister-in-law Marcie Crandall (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
