It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria J. Schindler of Colfax, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 21, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Sarauer and Emma Sarauer (Boos); her husband Bernard Schindler of Paul's Catholic Church; her son Pat Schindler; her siblings, Gilbert Sarauer (Elaine), Harold Sarauer (Betty), Eunice Schindler (Gilbert), Janice Bischel and Eileen Swoboda (Charles); and her son-in-law Peter Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Johnson (Jim Mrdutt) of Cumberland, Mike Schindler (Linda) of Colfax, Ben Schindler (Mary) of Holmen, WI, Andy Schindler (Julie) of Oakdale, MN, Paul Schindler (Della) of Eau Claire and Sue Mailloux (Tim) of Bloomington, MN; her grandchildren, Jill Drewitz (Paul), Eric Johnson (Jessica), Nick Johnson (Amber), David Schindler (Michelle), Laura Kistner (Matt), Marcus Schindler (Veronica), Jared Schindler (Chelsea), Matt Schindler, Jake Schindler, Nathan Schindler (Kylie Bartle) and Sydni Schindler (William Hackel); her daughter-in-law Christina Schindler; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Bischel and Bob Schindler. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
