He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Slind (Jerry) and Marilyn Slind (Elstad); and his close friend Tim Barstad. He is survived by: his daughters, Megan Dachel (Jarod) and Miranda Miller (Jason); his grandchildren, Brynn, Avery, Bryce and Reese; and his siblings, Mike Slind (Karen) and Susie Rudesill (Doug). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sampson Funeral Home (1017 E Railroad Ave, Colfax, WI 54730). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Whitetail Golf Course (8414 760th Ave, Colfax, WI 54730). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (609 Co Rd M, Colfax, WI 54730).
