Of Colgate. Passed away with family by his side October 23, 2025 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Jean for 42 years. Proud father of Jodene (Dean) Giacomini, Janell Vanderkin and Scot Soukup. Loving grandpa of Chad, Danyel (Mike), Brett (Shannon), Nick and 5 great-grandchildren. Further survived by other family and friends.

Dear Friends and Family, With heavy, yet grateful hearts last evening we lost my Dad Jim to his next journey in Heaven. 87 years of the earth's gift. Praying that the days ahead will allow the time to grieve, and then move on to the celebration of his life. A loving, caring, kind, hardworking God fearing man. No words can give the amount of gratitude and respect he is so deserving of…. His goal was to make memories with the family and he was successful in that! Our Annual pumpkin carving family gathering for the last 35 years with the "traveling trophy stuffed animal" and his love of fishing being some of his favorites! Rest Peacefully Dad, All My Love FOREVER.
