He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Popowski and Dolores Popowski (Tomaszewski); his parents-in-law, Orrin and Shirley Scheele; and his brother Arnold.
He is survived by: his wife Diana of Columbus; his sons, Anthony of Madison and Nicholas of Tampa, FL.; his siblings, Stan, Linda, Christine, Diane Malak (Doug) and Allen; his nephews, Andrew, Jimmy and Ray; and his brothers-in-law, Allen and Daylon Scheele of Stockton, IL. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jensen Funeral Home (248 S Ludington St, Columbus, WI 53925). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
