She was predeceased by: her parents, Ludden "Fritz" Benson and Esther Benson (Kuehl); and her aunt Laura Murphy. She is survived by: her husband Allen E. Sauer; her children, Larry Douma of Watertown, Laura Grossman (Todd) of Marshall, Lance Douma (Kristin) of Holland and Kimberly Etter (Thomas) of Friendship; her grandchildren, Justin (Emily), Jayden, Kale (Sydney), Kobe, Karter, Eleanor, Claire, Arabella, Tyden and Adaya; and her cousin Karen Papouschek.
