She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Oehlert and Bertha Oehlert (Yohn); and her siblings, Arnold Oehlert, Duewaine Oehlert, Eugene Oehlert, Phyllis Witthun and Betty Oehlert.
She is survived by: her husband Leonhard of Columbus; her children, Kristie Merrihew (Terry Dushack) of Columbus, Steven Diels of Columbus, Andy Diels (Sultan) of Columbus and Brenda Simonis (Greg) of Monona; her grandchildren, Shawn Merrihew (Beth) of Clarksville, TN, Kaycie Merrihew (Brandon) of Roswell, GA and Chelsea Warren (Nick) of Rockville, MD; her great grandchildren, Mason and Luke Merrihew of Clarksville, TN; and her sister Beverly MacDonald of Taylorsville, UT. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church.
