He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Bloom and Catherine Bloom (Clauer); his grandfather Bumpa; his son Kirk Bloom; his sisters, Mary Lou Markley, Bernetta Anderson and Elizabeth Poad; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Vivian Parkos.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Parkos of Columbus; his daughters, Glenda Crook (Jerome) of Columbus, Brenda Bloom of Sun Prairie, Amy Bloom of Arkdale and Kimberly Steiner (Peter) of Burlington; his daughter-in-law Deb Navis of Beaver Dam; his grandchildren, Jamie Gross (Jeremy), Andrew Crook (Ashley), Rebecca Freitag (Randy), Andrea Tuschen, Timothy Tuschen, Cassie Bouxa (Joseph), Trevor Steiner (Vani) and Tristan Steiner (Kaitlyn); his great grandchildren, Zoe, Leah, Benson, Avery, Allister, Flynn and Brayson; his sister Maureen Ubersox of Mineral Point; and his brothers-in-law, Marshall Anderson of Platteville and Lee Markley of New York. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church East Bristol. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to Columbus FFA or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
