He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Fischer and Adeline Callies (Callies); and his siblings, Lavern Fischer (Mary) of Rio, Harold Fischer of Madison and Angie Andler (Rodney) of Beaver Dam.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian "Lilly" Fischer (Parpart) of Columbus; his children, Randal Fischer (Natalie) of Portage, Ricky Fischer (Gina) of Sun Prairie and Lisa Hasey (Ryan) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Mitchell Hasey (Ashley), Kayla Hasey, Aaron Fischer and Kaylee Fischer; his godson Blaine Andler (Jan); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Fischer (Lavern) and Rose Amato (Dan). He is also survived by his wife and children.
