She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Fierke and Erma Fierke (Hoene); her husband Earl Witthuhn; her siblings, Aleda Schliewe, Doris Gabbard and Marvin Fierke; and her son-in-law Fredric Shepard.

She is survived by: her children, Joyce Shepard of Columbus, WI and Jim Witthuhn (Eileen Summers) of Sun Prairie, WI; her grandchildren, Deana Moon (Andy) of Baraboo, WI, Damon Desjarlais (Marla) of Franklin, TN and Brian Witthuhn of Seoul; her stepgrandchildren, Brigette Shepard (Jim Hubred) of Columbus and Fuzzy Shepard (Marie Abegglan) of Fall River; her great grandchildren, Abby, Carly, Jon Moon, Mark Desjarlais and Tyler Desjarlais; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Dustin Shepard (Kali), Amber Hubbard (James) and Jordon Neller (Michelle); and her sister-in-law Geraldine Fierke of Juneau, WI.
