He was predeceased by: his parents, John Baus and Mary Alice Baus; his parents-in-law, Virginia and Alfred Greuel; his sister Susan Cramer; his brothers-in-law, Gary Maynard and Tom Ortell; his nephew Chris Baus; and his nephew-in-law Greg Kallas.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his grandchildren, Isabelle, Colton Niehoff, Lily, Violet, Holly Baus and Franci Baus; his siblings, Vernon Baus (Kathleen), William Baus (Rosalie), Thomas Baus (Marlene), Philip Baus (Darlyn), George Baus (Brenda), Kathryn Schafer (Reuben), Claudia Wagner (John) and Marion Manderscheid (Michael); and his siblings-in-law, Michael Greuel (Pamela), Carol Maynard and Sharon Ortell. He is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, it was Stephen's request that donations be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) or Prairie Ridge Volunteer Scholarship Fund.
