It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Alice Wulterkens of Combined Locks, Wisconsin, born in Kimberly, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Smits and Phyllis Smits (Baumann); her husband Henry U. Wulterkens; her parents-in-law, Henry and Gertrude Wulterkens; her siblings, Jane Romensko (Gene), Ron Smits, John Smits and Claris Smits; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Peeters and Leone Kuhns (Chuck).

She is survived by : her children, Richard Wulterkens (Diane) of Colorado, Nancy Appleton (Rory Vanesky) of Appleton, Lori Strick (Richard) of Combined Locks and John Wulterkens (Dawn) of Darboy; her grandchildren, Samual Wulterkens (Heather), Stuart Wulterkens (Katie), Ben Wulterkens (Jen), Jacob Appleton (Sarah), Amber Torres-Appleton (Jacob), Adam Strick (Krystal), Leanna Povish (Dan), Aubrey Wulterkens (Joe) and Marissa Yenter (Jake); her great grandchildren, Bella, Gianna, Joseph, Henry Wulterkens, Violet, Samantha, Cameron Appleton, Lennon, Juliette, Rosie, Maggie, Sunny Torres, Abbie, Payton, Everly Strick, Oliver, Annabelle Povish and Leila Yenter; her siblings, Joyce Williams (Jim), Ken Smits (Jan) and Florian Smits (Grace); her in-laws, Phyllis Smits, Liz Smits and John Peeters; her close friends, Liz, Annie, Gloria, Doris and Marilyn; her friend Robina; and also Rosemary. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
