Betty L. Nelson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty L. Nelson of Coon Valley, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty L. Nelson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Johnson and Olga Johnson (Lindevig); her husband Layton Nelson; and her son Terry. She is survived by: her daughter Sue Dewsnap (Dennis) of DePere; her grandchildren, Tracy Stellner (Matt), Troy Nelson (Lindsay) of Coon Valley, Chris Dewsnap (Robbi) of DePere and Nick Dewsnap (Erin Boneck) of Waukesha; her great grandchildren, Macy, Mackenzie Stellner, Livvy, Griffin, Jaxson Nelson, Logan, Nathan Dewsnap, Ava and Layton Dewsnap; her daughter-in-law Marcy Nelson; and her brother-in-law Michael Nelson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Coon Valley Lutheran Church (1005 Central Ave, Coon Valley, WI 54623).
Memorials may be given to the Coon Valley Lutheran Church or the Knutson Memorial Library.
