He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Proksch and Edna Proksch (Schock); his parents-in-law, Adolph and Alida Manske; and his brothers, Eldred, Eugene and James.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Manske of Dodson Hollow; his son David (Doris); his granddaughters, Emma, Jana of Germany and Alexandria of South Carolina; his great grandchild Donald of La Crosse; his sisters-in-law, Elaine Proksch and Nancy Proksch; his nephew Rodney Proksch (Elayne); his nieces, Rhonda Rach (Keith), Bonnie Harden and Sandra Proksch-Troope; and his friends, Tanner, Nicole, Evelyn, Grant Johnson, Steve, Cindy Lisney, Mike, Stephanie Lee and Stuart Sill.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Peters Lutheran Church (131 S Main St, Chaseburg, WI 54621).
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
