Verlin L. Ihle Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2025, at the age of 88, Verlin L. Ihle (Coon Valley, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peterson and Mina Peterson (Iverson); his siblings, Gladys (Noble Stendahl), Hazel (Edwin Rudie), Alice (Ervin Nerison), Ozzie (Annette Ihle), Arlene (James Volden) and Arnold (Olga Peterson); and his siblings-in-law, Frank, James Rach and Christine Simoneau.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Ihle; his children, Corrine Amundson (Randy), Bjorn Ihle (Becky) and Rolv Ihle (Sandi); his grandchildren, Bill Mathison (Tami), Adrianna Seidler (Justin), Rachelle Amundson (Michael Bien) and Taylor Mathison; his great grandchildren, Samuel, Talia, William and Izabelle Seidler; his stepgrandchildren, Patrick Larsen, Jeremy Pratt (Yvonne), Hollie Satona and Melissa Hundt (Chuck); his sisters-in-law, Judy Anderson and Marla Collins; and his sisters, Margaret and Doris Rach.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Coon Valley Lutheran Church (1005 Central Ave, Coon Valley, WI 54623).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Coon Valley Lutheran Church, Freedom Honor Flight, Coon Valley American Legion, Westby VFW, or the charity of your choice. The family will be making a charitable donation instead of sending individual thank you notes.
