He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Heyder and Deliaha Heyder (Richards); his daughter Gayle Shumaker; and his grandson Nicholas Nicewander. He is survived by : his wife Ruth Heyder; his children, Margie Goltz, Leon Bernido and Carol Nicewander (Travis); his grandchildren, Raquel Chojnacki, Julieanne Nicewander and Brittney Spry (Jason); his great grandchild Miah Watts; his sisters, Linda Kerckhove and Amber St. Claire; and his nephew Jeffrey Kerckhove.
