It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Helen Mae (Engel Rykal) Shackleton of Cornell, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her grandparents, William Merrill, Philip Engel, Helen Mae Merrill and Margaret Engel; her mother-in-law Shirley Kremer; her sister-in-law Kari Kremer; and her stepchildren, Elisa Rykal and Blaine Galetka.
She is survived by : her parents, Tammy Kaska (Merrill) and David Engel (Lee Anne); her husband Robin Rykal; her children, Cheyan Shackleton (Cody) and JC Shackleton; her stepchildren, Bethany Grimm (Jim), Jasmine Davis, Lindsey Rykal (Jeon) and Kelsey Galetka (Trevor); her siblings, Doug Merrill, Rhonda Engel, David Engel (Tess), Angela Bocik, Mitchell Bocik, Tiffany Boehm (Jordan), Amanda Bocik and Christina Engel; her stepsiblings, Jimmie Kaska (Joanne) and Bobby Kaska; her grandsons, Liam and Logan Peterson; her stepgrandchildren, Dominic Grimm (Tori), Taylor Davis (Shawn), Dylan Davis, Bailey Witt, Sawyer Davis, Asher Witt, Evie Grimm, Elliot Grimm and Vivian Jeon; her stepgreat-grandchild Bowen Schneider; and her in-laws, Kathy Spaeth (Darrel), Travis Rykal (Samantha), Reno Rykal, Jude Kremer and Connie Kremer. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
