With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Greta Ann Breiby of Cornell, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 1, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Greta Ann has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert Bollenbach and Gladys Bollenbach; and her son John Breiby. She is survived by: her children, Jill Begalke of Bloomer and Jay Breiby of Peyton, Colorado; and her brother Robert Bollenbach of Bolingbrook, Illinois.. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to St. Croix Hospice in Chippewa Falls.
