Robert Edward Shields Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Edward Shields of Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert George and Lorraine Helen Shields (Houser); his sister Patty; his mother-in-law Mary Younger; and also Ainsley Eden.
He is survived by: his wife Kristine "Kris" Ann (Younger); his son Steven; his grandson Cody; his sisters, Penny, Merrysue and Dawn; his siblings-in-law, Marylou, Bonnie, Lynn, Debbie, Robin, Sally (Dale), Donald (Gladys), James, Mark and Ron; his siblings' children, Maria (Charles), Shelly, Daniella (Jeremy), Dale, Tony and CJ; his great-nieces, Jessica (Christopher) and Ally; his pets, Harley and Lucy; and also Morgan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the VFW Post 7591 (301 Cottage Grove Rd, Madison, WI 53716). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
