It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Doyle Abbott (Couderay, Wisconsin), born, March 02, 1950. in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Bob was a kind strong man. He was the kind of man that was always there when you needed help. He loved the outdoors and respected nature and animals. His passion was operating heavy equipment and anything outdoors.
He is survived by his Sons; Robert Orin Abbott, James Abbott, & Richard Abbott. Daughters; Jennifer Hammett, Sabrina Hammett, & Carol Swain.
Brother; Roger, (Saron) Abbott.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Orin "Bud" Abbott & Ruth Gibson Abbott. His Brother's Paul, (Judy) Abbott & Rick, (Marlene) Abbott. Son; Randy Hammett.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery (Spooner, Wi 54801).
