We bid farewell to Shawn Schmidt of Crandon, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 30, 2025 at the age of 76. Shawn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Schmidt and Rose Schmidt; and his siblings, Richard, Allen and Janet.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn (Stein); his children, Curt Schmidt (Danelle), Carrie Takamatsu (Matt) and Stephanie Byers (Eric); and his grandchildren, Peyton, Shad, Maggie, Norah, Levi and Ruža. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Crandon Public Library in memory of Shawn.
