Shawn Schmidt Obituary
We bid farewell to Shawn Schmidt of Crandon, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 30, 2025 at the age of 76. Shawn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Schmidt and Rose Schmidt; and his siblings, Richard, Allen and Janet.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn (Stein); his children, Curt Schmidt (Danelle), Carrie Takamatsu (Matt) and Stephanie Byers (Eric); and his grandchildren, Peyton, Shad, Maggie, Norah, Levi and Ruža. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Praise Chapel Community Church (200 6th St, Crandon, WI 54520).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Crandon Public Library in memory of Shawn.
