He is survived by: his children, Steve Ammeter (Tammy) and Kim Ryan (Mark); his grandchildren, Josh Ammeter, Stephanie Ammeter, Tamrah Ellenbecker, Danielle and Samantha Ryan; and his stepchildren, Vicki O'Neil (Cindy Spencer), Keith VanderMeulen, Tessie Schimmel, Cory Schart, Lori Jurecki, Sandy Kadrlik, Mary Kozicki, Ted Denissen, Darlene Wauters, Michael VanderMeulen, Missy Hilliker and David Smet.
