Iris C. Brunner Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris C. Brunner of Cross Plains, Wisconsin, born in Blue River, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Couey and Alma Couey (McKinney); her son Robert Jacob; her daughter-in-law Jenn Brunner; her brothers, Benny, Gene (Eathel) and Armin; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Couey, Roger Jewell, Babe and Gordie Brunner.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Brunner of Cross Plains; her children, Tim (Sally), Chery Theis (Carl), Jeff, Deb Gudel (Stan), Kevin (Kristal Gerbick), Mary Roessler (Chuck), Doug (Paula) and Julie Baldwin (Mike); her grandchildren, Emily, Max, Theo, Lydia, Chris, Carter, Dana, Sara, Maggie, Tony, Abbie, Jessica, Jonah, Sienna and Ari; her siblings, Bernie Couey and Rosemary Jewell; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Couey, Bob Brunner, Corrine Crowley (Pat), Kay Crowley (Mike) and Bev Brunner.
She also volunteered for many local organizations including The Golden Agers, The Silvertones, driving for RSVP and making Cancer Caps.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cross Plains Baseball, Northwest Dane Senior Services or a charity of your choice.
