He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph G. Engelhart and Margaret Engelhart (Krogman); and his sister Dorothy Richards. He is survived by: his wife Luanne Knebel; his children, Michael "Mike" Engelhart (Anna), Bill Engelhart (Maria Vanderminden) and Erin Engelhart (Garry Mason); and his grandchildren, Erika, Jenna, Drew Engelhart, Castor and Caelum Vanderminden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
