With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lois Marie Fitzsimmons of Cross Plains, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lois left this world on August 23, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Agatha Matthias (Malchow) and Romaine Matthias; her parents-in-law, Eva Fitzsimmons (Gorder) and Edgar Fitzsimmons; and her brother James Matthias.

She is survived by: her husband Dennus Fitzsimmons; her children, Christian, Elizabeth Fitzsimmons (Schroeder), Heather (Fitzsimmons) and Bryan Rubenalt; her grandchildren, Ryan, Maggie Fitzsimmons (Connelly), Samantha Rubenalt, Lauren (Fitzsimmons), Jordan Jones and Jessica Rubenalt (Zachary Bain); her great grandchild Ciaran Fitzsimmons; and her brother John Matthias. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She gave her time and heart to many community organizations, including Agrace HospiceCare, Northwest Dane Senior Center, RSVP of Dane County, and many others.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. John/St. Paul Lutheran Church, Agrace HospiceCare, or Northwest Dane Senior Center in Lois's memory.
