She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Scheele and Luella Scheele (Wille); her son Steven; her granddaughter Hadley Johnson; and her son-in-law Gary Toay.

She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Toay and Lori Johnson (Barcley); her grandchildren, Brian Toay (Sandy), James Toay (Tina), Steven, Kayla, Kara Toay and Parker Johnson; and her sister Mae Sailing (Gary). She is also survived by many nieces & nephews, along with other relatives.
