He was predeceased by: his daughter Judith Alida Hustad; and his siblings, Palmer, Gordon, Gary Hustad, Pearl Gordon, Darlene Zevnik and Priscilla Hustad.

He is survived by: his wife Darleen; his son Michael Hustad (Joan); his grandchildren, Matthew Hustad (Jessica) and Jenna Fraracci (Nicholas); his great grandchildren, Oliver, Eleanor, Gideon, Hadassah, Ruth, Lena Hustad, Aria and Amadeo Fraracci; and his brother Myron Hustad (Connie).
