He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Stayner and Alice Stayner (Duesenberg). He is survived by: his wife Joanie Meier; his children, Christopher Stayner, Samantha Jo Liddicoat (Brett), Rhonda Holtz and Brittany Schmidt; his grandchildren, Olivia, Bentley, Madison Holtz, Kaden and Danika Schmidt; and his siblings, Bonnie Mason (Kent), Dean Stayner (Debbie), Diana Stayner and Nancy Weide.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established for some of Richard's favorite charities.
