He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Kessler and Glendoris Kessler (Callahan); his daughter Kellie Engelke; his sister Glenann Slade (Roger); his brother-in-law Jack Powell; and his grandchildren, Blake and Bridget Tashner.
He is survived by : his wife Kathleen "Kay" Kessler; his children, Kim Heinrichs (Kenneth) of Belmont, WI, Kitzie Tashner (Marty), Kara Rizer (Terry), Georgetown, Kevin Kessler (Debbie) of Lewisville, TX, Chris Kessler (Linda Casiano) of Madison, WI, Kurt Kessler (Tiffany) of Bristow, VA and Kory Kessler (Sue) of Dubuque, IA; his son-in-law Ken Engelke of New Glarus, WI; and his sister Mary Lou Powell of Dubuqe, IA. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a William L. Kessler Memorial Fund has been established.
