He is survived by : his wife Rachelle Messner; his sisters, Mary Evje (Don) and Susan Brandstetter; his former life partner Francesca D'Acquisto; his sons, Michael (Jena Olson) and Matthew Messner (Sarah Ekblad); and his stepchildren, Katie Tweedy, Krissy Van Hove (Jeremy), Jared Breyfogle, Colby Breyfogle and Shannon Breyfogle. He is also survived by his wife, sons, and friends.
