He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Sobczak and Dorothy Sobczak; his sister Sharon Luebke; his in-laws, Leonard, Alice Ziolkowski, Steven Schneider and Kevin Ziolkowski; and his grandson Francis (James Wright).
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Jonathan and Zachary (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Anita and Harrison. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
