He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Pinwar; his sisters, Tina DesArmo (Robert) and Christina Johnson; his siblings' children, Jarod Johnson and Sara DesArmo; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Marino, John Pinwar (Sheila) and Rick Lorenz (late Patti).
